A New Paradigm was born!
At a recent congress of The Evolution of Psychotherapy (2013) many representatives of Psychosocial and Cultural Genomics presented new answers to important questions:
What are the relationships between Mind, Body and Behavior?
Is it possible to measure the results of psychotherapy in an objective manner?
Hypnosis as sole anaesthesia for dental removal in a patient with Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS) by Mind-Body Transformations Therapy (MBT-T) performed by Mauro Cozzolino, Professor of Clinical Psychology, Laboratory of Clinical and Experimental Research on Psycho-Social Genomics, Translational Neuroscience and Hypnosis (PSG-LAB “Ernest Rossi”), University of Salerno.
This video shows Professor Mauro Cozzolino inducing analgesia by the Mind-Body Transformations Therapy (MBT-T)– our evidence-based, innovative, hypnotic method – in a female patient with MCS who needed to undergo the surgical removal of a tooth under hypnosis as sole anaesthesia. Postoperative patient feedback is also shown.
